The offsite people actually talk about afterwards
2 July 2026 · 4 min read

Every offsite has one genuinely valuable hour in it. The job of everything else — transfers, rooms, meals, AV, the walk between sessions — is to protect that hour.
We sequence days around energy rather than agenda. Hard thinking before lunch. Movement after. The social evening placed where it lifts the next morning instead of flattening it.
On the ground, one Hodos coordinator holds every vendor relationship so your organiser holds none of them. They arrive as a participant, not a host.
The measure of a good offsite is simple: nobody spent the weekend solving problems that were not the point of the weekend.
